Participans from over 50 countries, including ministers responsible for environmental and forestry issues, met last October in Warsaw at "FOREST 2017" conference during the Fourth European Forest Week; the role of Carbon Forest Project in mitigating climate change through increasing the absorption of carbon dioxide absorption by designated Polish forests was emphasized.
